Lately, when I walk on the path towards grandmother's, I get this feeling of being watched. I can't tell from which direction. And I don't see anyone. The forest is very dark. But I feel a gaze on me. Following me.
You just like being watched so much that you imagine eyes on you even if there are none. Everything that ever existed in the forest has long been abandoned. There's nobody there that could be watching you. Unless you believe in ghosts!
The forest is just a very unpleasant place. I've been discussing with grandmother about moving. She's not ready for that yet. You know how old people get attached to their houses. But I'm working on it!
I do believe in ghosts. But I don't think they would harm us. They used to be people too. They're just alone, or afraid, or sad. Maybe they're looking for a friend.
Well if there is indeed a "wolf" as midoriri says, you shouldn't find it uncommon for a wolf to be in a forest. Wolves and coyotes are common in those areas. Besides in ancient indian myths wolves were known to secretly watch people as to protect them. But this forest to your grandmothers sounds rather dangerous I'd advise bringing company along your way. Sides "watching eyes" in forests remind me too much of the Blair Witch Project...*shivers*...haha.
